Valentines Day at Univ. Wisconsin - La Crosse printshop is always a big affair. Prof. Joel Elgin builds it up in the preceding days, and asks that the students all exchange expressions of printshop love with each other. This year in addition to the exchange there was music, food, and even t-shirt tye-dying. Yes indeed, printshop love was in the air. The printshop is centered around primarily intaglio and lithography. Since this was a printshop, I decided this year I would make a print for my valentine exchange. It's titled (whatelse) "Printshop Love, 2006." It is a linocut, that is not perfect since it was done with considerable haste, but still manages to get it's message across.
